This item was actually a hand-me-down. My dad bought it for my mom's laptop, but she didn't want it. I took it and I use it as a book holder. It actually works perfectly with most of the text books that I study out of (most graduate math texts that aren't by Lang tend to be on the small side. It was super easy to put together, and it holds my books at the perfect angle.
